53rd Stone Mountain Highland Games – October 17-19, 2025

Field Platform

Three 45-minute dance sessions will be held at the dance platform of the Stone Mountain Games on Saturday and Sunday. Atlanta dancers, teachers, and guests from the area will lead and participate in the sessions. Audience members may be invited to dance during these sessions.

  • 11:00 – 11:45 am
  • 1:30 – 2:15 pm
  • 3:00 – 3:45 pm


Field Demonstration

Two demonstration groups will dance two dances during the games on the field. These are experienced Atlanta dancers and guests who will demonstrate Scottish Country Dancing for attendees.

Granville Market (repeated 8 times)

Lavendar Strathspey (repeated 4 times)


Evening Dances

Live music will be provided both nights by Mara Shea (fiddle) and Julie Gorka (piano). Both dances will be held at the games host hotel, Hilton Atlanta Northeast. Both dances will begin at 8:00 pm. Dances are held on the first floor in the room at the end of the hall to the right of the registration desk (beyond the restaurant).
