53rd Stone Mountain Highland Games October 17-19, 2025
The Atlanta Branch of the RSCDS is pleased to announce that we are hosting the Friday and Saturday evening dances in conjunction with the 53rd Stone Mountain Highland Games (SMHG) and Scottish Festival! This year the SMHG will be held October 17-19, 2025.
The Atlanta Branch will host the Fall Gala on Friday night, along with The Tartan Ball on Saturday evening (see the flyer). Please join us for what will be a fun-filled program each evening. Live music will be performed by the delightful duo Copious Notes: Mara Shea (fiddle) and Julie Gorka (keyboard)! See below for registration details.
The dances will start at 8:00pm ET Friday and Saturday evenings, and will be held at the Hilton Atlanta Northeast, which is the official SMHG hotel. The the room in which the dances will be located is on the first floor, down the hall to the right of the registration desk, past the bar area.

Pre-registration for the dances is now open. Tickets per dancer are $23 for either dance or $44 for both dances until October 1, 2025. After October 1, 2025 and at the dances, tickets will be $25 per dancer for either dance.

SMHG Platform Dancing for 2025
In addition to the dances on Friday and Saturday night, dancers from the branch and branch guests will be performing three 45-minute dance demonstrations at the Scottish Country Dancing platform at Stone Mountain Park on Saturday and Sunday at 11:00am, 1:30pm, and 3:00pm.
